    Description

    Summary:
    Provides assistance with patient care in a clinic setting following established standards and practices. Conducts lab procedures as needed and as per competency.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist physician with basic patient care tasks such as taking vital signs and collecting specimens
    • Aid in patient examinations, treatments, and procedures
    • Manage clinic patient flow and assist in scheduling appointments and test results
    • Handle phone calls, record messages, and support providers with patient inquiries
    • Administer medications and immunizations per provider instructions
    • Maintain cleanliness and order in exam rooms, clean equipment, and restock supplies
    • Perform routine clerical tasks like filing patient charts and completing forms
    • Attend meetings, training sessions, and fulfill other assigned duties

    Requirements:
    CERTLVN License in state of employment or compact
    BLS certification

    Work Type:
    Per Diem As Needed
