**Job Title:** Environmental Consultant I
RS&H is currently looking for an Environmental Consultant I to join our Aviation Practice in Jacksonville, FL.
**Job Summary:**
This role involves being part of the Environmental Planning Service Group that provides support and consulting expertise to Aviation clients nationwide. Responsibilities include assisting with and managing environmental documentation services for airport improvement projects.
**Essential Functions:**
- Requires an accredited Bachelor's degree in planning, aviation, environmental science, or a related field
- Understanding of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), federal environmental laws and regulations, and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Orders for compliance
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in preparing NEPA documentation for airport or DOT improvement projects
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for completing assignments
- Familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS is a plus
- Ability to work in a team, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects
- Interest in working in an airport/airfield environment
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Desired Completed Coursework in various environmental areas
