    Job Summary
    We are seeking a qualified and caring Dental Hygiene Assistant/Receptionist to join our team As a Dental Hygiene Assistant/Receptionist, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our clients feel like family. You will provide assistance to the dentist and hygienist during exams and procedures and complete administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate would need to be a team player, be able to work in a busy high volume office, have dependable transportation, be very reliable, and punctual. Job Duties would include but not limited to; taking x-rays, sterilizing instruments, charting exams with Doctor, verifying patient's health history, room setup and breakdown, and various front office tasks. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.     Responsibilities
    • Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
    • Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
    • Take vital signs and accurately record medical history
    • Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist and hygienist for procedures
    • Assist the dentist and hygienist during procedures and exams
    • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
    • Schedule appointments
    • Answer phones
    • Check in/out
    • Collect co-pays
    • Verify insurances
    • Discuss financials
    Qualifications
    • Strong computer and data entry skills
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Ability to provide high-quality patient care
    • Ability to work in a fast pace work environment
    • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
