    Specification Representative

    About Us:

    Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, operating out of 27 branches throughout the United States.

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly motivated Specification Representative to promote and create pull-through demand for Decorative surface distributed by Rugby Architectural Building Products to architects and interior designers for both the commercial and residential markets.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Promote and present our Decorative surfaces to architects, designers, contractors, and other industry professionals.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the design and architecture communities.
    • Collaborate with architects, designers, and specifiers to identify project requirements and provide tailored solutions using our full product line.
    • Create and deliver compelling presentations and technical demonstrations to educate customers about our products.
    • Attend local or regional industry trade shows, and participate in networking events to build brand awareness.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or experience in architecture, interior design, construction management, or related fields.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Demonstrated ability to deliver compelling presentations and technical demonstrations.
    • Self-motivated and driven to achieve business objectives.
    • Willingness to travel regularly for customer visits, trade shows, and industry events.
