Preconstruction Manager

About the Company

South East commercial General Contractor with nearly 70 years experience of successfully running large value projects throughout the south east. Areas that they cover includes but is not limited to Multifamily, Interiors, Office/Commercial, Retail.

They provide general construction services to their clients and hold a fantastic reputation in the market whether this is through general contracting, preconstruction, design-build or construction management.

Experience Required

• At least 3 years' experience working for a General Contractor or construction Management firm
• Ground-up project experience is desired
• Able to handle take-offs
• Pricing
• Subcontractor communication, pricing, and negotiation – building relationships with key vendors
• Determining costs
• Assisting Design team
• Prepare relevant and reliable forecasts

• Hands-on estimating aptitude
• Excellent communication skills (Verbal, written and interpersonal)
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Competent with modern Estimating software
