Description

This position will assist state staff with the continuing design and development of Daily Event Management System (DEMS) and critical enhancements to the Fire Safety (FA) system, in addition to the support and maintenance of approximately eight Java Web Applications and the development of any new java web -based applications.

Duties

Design, implement and maintain Java web applications throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Assist in Business Requirements collection and analysis.
Assist in design and develop of prototypes.
Write code and implement Java, HTML, XHTML, JSP, JPA, JSF, Hibernate, Korn shell, SQL, and Web Services.
Develop database queries to retrieve, update and delete data.
Support/maintenance of eight Java web applications.
Development of new java web-based applications.

Mandatory Requirements

Experience (8+ Years)
Creates computer software. May specialize in one area of computer software or may write code for many kinds of software.

Requirements

This is an 100% Onsite
60 months programming experience in server-side Java web applications in a multi-tier environment, using JDK 1.5 or higher.
48 months experience writing queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers in Oracle 10g or higher.

36 months development experience in database design and object creation/modification of databases consisting of 20 or more tables, in ORACLE 10g or higher.

36 months experience with jQuery.
24 months programming experience with JSF.
24 months programming experience with JPA.
