Azure DevOps EngineerLocation: Vienna, VA (This role is Hybrid and the candidate must be local to HQ with a 2 days a week in office requirement)Contract role months contract with possible extension.
The DevOps Engineer will join a 8 person Digital DevOps team and support the multiple Development/Experience Teams who are developing our next generation, Cloud-based banking system.
While there will be some operations related tasks, the focus of this DevOps position is more on the Dev side of DevOps.
By that we mean their primary focus will be on providing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CI) support to ensure that Azure repos/pipelines are working properly and that Development Team CI/CD issues get resolved quickly so that maximum efficiency/velocity can be maintained.
Qualifications :
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceExperience using the following front-end technologies: Node.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or similar Cloud native offeringsHands on automation skills and significant experience in creating CI/CD pipelines leveraging cloud native architectures on Microsoft Azure Cloud and Infrastructure as Code for enterprise applicationsExperience with Agile Delivery, SAFe, and DevOps frameworksExperience with Microservices deployment and release managementExperience with Azure DevOps tools for plan, build, test, release and monitorExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, PowerShell scripting, GIT, Linux, Shell, Azure Resource Management (ARM) templates.
