In this vital role, you will provide daily, hands-on support to individuals with developmental and behavioral needs—assisting with personal care, daily living tasks, and skill development. Guided by each client's Individualized Program Plan (IPP) and behavior support plan, you will help promote independence, community involvement, and overall well-being. You'll also transport clients to medical appointments and community outings, document care activities in a timely and accurate manner, and respond to crisis situations with professionalism and empathy. Whether it's providing one-on-one guidance, supporting communication needs, or helping someone achieve a personal milestone, this is a meaningful opportunity to make an impact every day. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide:

• Provide daily, individualized care to clients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, feeding, ambulation, medical monitoring, cooking, cleaning, and other daily living tasks.
• Follow individualized care schedules based on each client's Individualized Program Plan (IPP) and behavior support plan.
• Support clients in developing daily living skills and community involvement.
• Transport clients to medical appointments, shopping, and recreational outings (must be an "approved driver" per company policy).
• Document all care activities, including daily records and incident reports, accurately and on time.
• Implement crisis intervention procedures and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Provide guidance, teaching, and assistance to clients in skill development and social interaction.
• Use augmentative communication devices or other means of communication as needed.

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a WV Cares Federal Background Check.
• Must have reliable transportation (day shift employees only).
• Commitment to working 12-hour shifts as scheduled.
