- Maintain a caseload of 25-30 clinical hours/per week
- Keep all case files organized and up to date
- Must be available some evenings
- Attend monthly staff and case consultation meetings
- Provide crisis intervention as needed
- Recommend community services or specialists for patients and family members in need
- Use patient medical information, interviews, observation, and testing as well as collaboration with other staff members to determine a patient's mental health status
- Evaluate patients' circumstances on a regular basis and provide necessary follow-up care
- Create individualized treatment plans that include goals and objectives for each patientQualifications
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must have 1-3 years of mental health experience in a clinical setting
- Licensure in the state you reside as a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) or the equivalent is required
- High school diploma or GED and a bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, or equivalent; masters degree preferred
