    Clearsense, Inc. is actively seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to fill the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

    Reporting to Clearsense's CEO, the CFO will be a team leader on the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) with a strong operational background, be expert in accounting processes, possess the knowledge and skills to work and communicate with all members of the senior leadership team to accurately budget and forecast.

    The seasoned executive will have deep experience as a senior financial leader for a healthcare technology company with Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings to help guide strategic investments and cost efficiencies that contribute to the company's goals.

    The CFO will collaborate closely with sales, contributing to pricing methodology and accurate forecasting. The CFO will also work closely with client delivery and technology organizations to drive profitable growth.

    The CFO will routinely provide analysis and KPIs that illustrate the health of the company and deliver standard reporting on all financial operations to the CEO and the Board of Directors.

    This includes customized PaaS offerings catering to the specific needs of healthcare clients and stakeholders across the industry. The company's ownership includes HealthQuest Capital, Health Catalyst Capital and UPMC Enterprises.
    Key Responsibilities

    As a member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), contributes to and shapes corporate strategy and culture

    Directs and oversees the company's financial administration and planning including but not limited to financial policy development and implementation and establishing appropriate internal systems to support financial and business operations consistent with the company's growth and reporting requirements.

    Builds upon the financial systems and processes that allow the Company to track and predict revenues and costs, with appropriate financial metrics and reports that allow the management team, CEO, and Board of Directors to make decisions with accurate data, including the company's financial stability, liquidity, and growth.

    Contributes to company's short- and long-range planning, identifying areas of profitable growth and/or expansion
    Oversees and manages relationships with lending institutions, shareholders, and the financial community.
    Manages the functional areas of financial reporting and controls, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, investor relations, audit and financial compliance.
    Manages and oversees preparation of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and capital budgets.
    Oversees insurance function to assure company's assets are safeguarded from all possible exposure.
    As a member of the Pricing Committee, contributes to strategy and models that maximize profitability and growth

    Hires, develops, supervises, and motivates finance and accounting managers including providing day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance.

    Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.
    Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
    Qualifications

    Demonstrated success as a CFO in a private or public Healthcare technology company
    Deep experience with SaaS and/or PaaS revenue models and revenue recognition practices.
    Experience in private equity and debt capital raising
    Master's degree (B.A.) or equivalent
    Experience working with an Audit Committee and presenting to a Board of Directors
    Extensive knowledge of forecasting and financial reports.
    Demonstrated ability to interpret economic conditions and anticipate the impact on the Company

    Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate subordinates.
