Position can be held in Colorado Springs or DenverSummary:
Assists with administration of the organization's compliance program, policies and practices.
Work Schedule:
Full Time, 80 hours / pay period
Days
Responsibilities:
Oversees the work of Compliance Analysts to identify, assess and compile healthcare compliance risk areas as determined by Compliance authorities.
Conducts root cause analyses to recommend enhancements that reduce risk.
Conducts reviews of healthcare risk areas pertaining to billing, coding, and other operational functions.
Focuses may also include risk areas identified by the Office of Inspector General (OIG), other applicable federal or state agencies, or by the industry at large.
Manages healthcare compliance monitoring processes to ensure risk mitigation in critical areas.Works to assess, advise on, and resolve reported healthcare compliance concerns and inquiries.
Researches and applies current state and federal healthcare regulations related to compliance.
Develops and delivers education as needed to assist management across the system in maintaining compliance with healthcare rules and laws.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Requirements:
Minimum Required Education:
High school diploma or GED.
Required Licensure/Certification:
None required.
Minimum Experience:
3 years of relevant experience.
Preferred BA/BS
Preferred candidate will have, or obtain within 18 months, applicable compliance or privacy certification
The pay range for this position is: $ $54.28 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
