Job summary
The Enterprise Risk Management Department is responsible for managing the Bank's enterprise risk as a function of second line of defense according to the Bank's risk governance framework.We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented AVP to join our Payments Risk Management team, with a focus on strengthening our risk management framework, supporting system implementations, and driving operational efficiency.
This role will be responsible for analyzing and monitoring risks across custody services.
Responsibilities
Risk Governance: Assist with the logistics of the Payments Risk Committee. Support the Payments Project Management Office within the department. Contribute to the development of governance in Payments Risk Management.Assist with internal audits and regulatory compliance matters.Risk Analysis and Monitoring: Identify, assess, and monitor operational risks across all areas of custody services including securities settlement corporate action processing withholding tax reporting.Participate in risk assessments gap analyses identify potential vulnerabilities areas for improvement.Review critically evaluate root cause analyses payment-related incidents issues recommend preventative measures.Develop metrics business performance monitoring initiate investigations breach events.Aggregate PAYMENTS RISK. Ensure continuous communication initiatives relevant committees.Address inquiries related PAYMENTS RISK MANAGEMENT timely effective manner.System Implementation UAT Testing: Participate system implementation upgrade projects custody operations perspective.Gather document user requirements new systems enhancements.Execute test results track resolve defects.Collaborate IT vendors address system issues successful implementation.MIS Reporting Data Analysis:- Generate analyze MIS reports monitor business activities trends support risk management
