- Assist in the planning, design, and execution of railroad and bridge construction projects
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives, timelines, and budgets are met
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to field personnel
- Prepare and review engineering documents, including drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards
- Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and labor
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering issues as they arise
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in civil engineering with experience in railroad and bridge construction a plus
- Strong knowledge of industry practices, standards, and regulations
- Proficient in CAD software and project management tools
- Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills
- On-Site
- Ability to travel 3-5 days a month to properties throughout Iowa, Illinois, and Nebraska
