- BILH Primary Care offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch, secure clinical care as part of a highly effective clinical team.
- The Medical Assistant at BILH Primary Care focuses on improving patient satisfaction and provider productivity by collaborating closely on patient care. Your responsibilities will include assisting Healthcare Providers with their daily tasks and schedules to ensure timely patient care. You will also take patient vital signs, record medical histories in our EMR system, and provide medical information to patients and families to ensure positive patient experiences.

- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required, and:
- Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant program AND
- Has obtained a Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA) *Must be obtained within 6 months of employment.*
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Must possess strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to ensure patient needs are met.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Utilizes critical thinking and good judgment in task performance.
- Must have good organizational skills and be able to multitask.

Minimum Qualifications:
Licensure, Certification, Registration:
Certification required upon hire and maintained if not a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.
Achieves and maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association, within 90 days of hire.
