- Reading and understanding engineering drawings and instructions to select correct parts, materials, tools, assemblies, standards, and hardware.
- Installing, fitting, fastening, aligning, adjusting, and performing necessary pre-installation and interior installation work.
- Applying proper cleaning methods, surface preparation, and masking techniques for rework.
- Troubleshooting and developing solutions for complex non-standard tasks.
- Required Skills/Experience:
- Previous aircraft fabrication experience.
- Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
- 7+ years of aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing experience with decorative finishes.
- Specialization in design and/or analysis of aircraft interior modifications.
- Technical skills including filing, sanding, painting, decorative laminating ("declam"), and cosmetic rework (e.g., paint color matching, surface texture matching).
