Job Title: Assistant Controller

• Hybrid Schedule

Overview of the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Controller to oversee the accounting operations of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the accounting team in managing day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
Support month-end close processes and ensure accurate financial reporting
Collaborate with auditors on a quarterly and annual basis to maintain compliance and accuracy
Maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and leadership
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Ensure internal controls are in place and functioning effectively

Requirements:

Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on controller or assistant controller roles
Previous supervisory experience, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a strong understanding of GAAP accounting standards
Proficiency in accounting software, including NetSuite, Intacct, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics Suite, and QuickBooks
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work autonomously with little direction
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to adapt to change and navigate complex situations
