Job summary
The Patient Care Technician performs a variety of routine duties to assist the nursing staff in the delivery of patient care. This position spends the majority of his or her time interacting with, assisting, and supporting our patients.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates the activities of the nursing staff, the patient, the physician, other hospital departments and visitors.
- Performs general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate efficient functioning of the nursing unit.
