    Warehouse - General Laborer

    Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00-5:00 PM

    Pay Rate: $13.00/hr

    Location: Houston, TX 77507

    Experience: 2+ years

    Warehouse Associate Responsibilities and Requirements may include:

    • Organize the warehouse by removing and stacking empty pallets.
    • Fulfill store orders by pulling merchandise through layers using electronic voice control equipment, stacking onto pallets, placing labels in the appropriate area on freight, and transporting using power equipment
    • Maintain freight integrity through inspection for damage and misplacement (i.e. "strays") and maintaining records, logs and forms
    • Operate large power equipment (depending on role)
    • Use approved equipment to step up and access freight and equipment in elevated areas
    • Stand/Walk within work area for extended periods of time
    • Enter and locate information on a computer or RF Scanner
    • Differentiate sounds in order to inspect and maintain equipment, identify potential hazards, or recognize safety alarms
    • Lift, push, pull, and carry tools, objects or equipment above shoulder level without assistance
    • Move, lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies
    • Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
    • Visually verify and read information, often in small print
    • Visually locate merchandise and the other objects and inspect equipment
    • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
