Job summary
New York State launched , an open-government initiative on March 11, 2013. The concept of Open Data describes data freely available for citizens to process.The NYS Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) needs a Project Manager to enhance strategic relationships with agencies and localities in support of Open Government.
Educational requirements: at least months experience overseeing technology projects in public sector; coordinating across multiple entities supporting technology solution objectives;
a demonstrated understanding of technical requirements for large scale data solutions; knowledge in making public sector data available. Experience required working state or local tech projects.
