    The RN Supervisor is primary responsible for assisting the Executive Director and the President with the overall supervision of the Medically fragile Program.

    The RN Supervisor will be responsible for, but not limited to:


    Plans, organizes, and provides oversight of staff to provide client care, evaluates care and ensures client satisfaction: monitoring and oversight of the houses daily staffing requirements: orient clinical staff to their job responsibilities; provide leadership in clinical problem solving.

    Assist with staff recruitment, ensuring an orientation plan for new staff members, and providing timely feedback: and scheduling in-service/training as needed: serves as liaison with physicians.

    Implement and interpret organizational policies and procedures, and nursing standards, protocols and regulations.
    Supervise and coordinate client care and counseling activates of SFI to ensure that services for client are carried out according to contracts, policies and procedures

    Supervise SFI nursing staff including but not limited to, daily schedules, recruitment, hiring, merit recommendations, promotions, transfers, vacation schedules, disciplinary action, performance evaluations, orientation, training and development.


    Coordinates with processes incoming referrals:
    liaison with referral agencies; collaborates with referral sources and SFI treatment Team to facilitate prospective admissions.
    Responsible for assessment and evaluation of clients with discharged from hospital
    Responsible for oversight of medication administration
    Experience
    A minimum of two years supervisory experience in a health care setting, working directly with individuals
    Must possess a working knowledge of COMAR regulations and OSHA guidelines.
    Education and Training
    Minimum Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing
    Current licensure in the State of Maryland will be required
    CPR and First Aid Certification
    Physical/ Working Conditions
    Intermittent physical activity including walking, standing, sitting, lifting and supporting clients.
    Incumbent may be exposed to virus, disease and infection from patients and specimens in working environment.
    Incumbent will be required to work at any facility owned by Second Family, Inc. and be responsible for own transportation.
    This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Second Family, Inc.

    It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values as well as follow all legal requirements in implementing duties according to policies and procedures.

    The employee shall support Second Family', Inc's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the performance improvement plan.
