    Saline Lectronics (an Emerald Technologies company) has an exciting opportunity for a Preventative Maintenance Technician to join its Saline, MI team The Preventative Maintenance Technician will be responsible for completing Preventative Maintenance (PM) tasks throughout the facility as scheduled. This individual will review the PM schedule daily in Hippo CMMS and complete the tasks by due date and priority. The tasks include, but are not limited to: cleaning, lubricating, inspecting, and repairing machines. This position is for 2nd shift so the PMs can be completed while the production equipment is not running.

    Responsibilities of the Preventative Maintenance Technician:

    • Complete all Preventative Maintenance (PM) tasks as assigned, including:
      • Grease / lubricate machinery
      • Clean machinery
      • Inspect condition of machinery
    • Basic machine operation (training provided)
    • Calibration of machinery (training provided)
    • Complete repairs / projects as assigned

    Qualifications of the Preventative Maintenance Technician:

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a mostly unsupervised setting.
    • Ability to stay organized and on-schedule.
    • Basic computer skills. Use email and learn/use Hippo CMMS maintenance software.
    • Attention to detail / quality. Looking for someone that will own and take pride in the condition of the machines.
    • Tool proficiency and understanding of mechanical fundamentals.
    • Willingness to get dirty.
