    Engineering Manager

    York, PA

    Crescend is currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead its York, PA technical team. If you are an experienced engineer with a successful track record in leading project teams and developing new products to market, Crescend has a career opportunity for you As the leader of the Crescend's engineering team, you will be responsible for managing our highly skilled engineering staff for the design and development of innovative products to pair with applications of our customers and service the men and women of our armed forces.

    Primary responsibilities of this role include
    • Manages engineering team to ensure internal and external project goals are achieved,
    • Prioritizes and assigns engineering support for new product development and mature product support.
    • Prepares and approves engineering designs in accordance with design requirements,
    • Collaborates with customers and Crescend's business development team to identify, assess and implement opportunities to expand the capabilities of existing products and manufacturing processes
    This role reports to the Crescend Technologies General Manager and is located in York, PA.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Plan, organize, manage, and evaluate work in area of responsibility to ensure efficient, timely and cost-effective projects.

    Analyze problems, identify solutions, project consequences of proposed actions, and implement recommendations supporting goals.

    Maintains confidentiality.

    Knowledge of Microsoft and Adobe applications, including Project, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Acrobat.

    EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Physics or technical discipline and 5 years of experience in managing projects/technical personnel or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

    CERTIFICATES/LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS

    Ability to obtain security clearance (Secret) preferred.
