    Summary and relationship to the curriculum:


    This position ensures the effective organization and operation of the school to include the instructional program and related activities in support of the District's mission.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    Facilitates the development, communication, implementation and evaluation of a shared vision of teaching and learning that leads to school

    Directs and supervises the ongoing development of a plan for continuous improvement and communicates the plan with

    Develops, advocates and sustains an academically rigorous, positive and safe school climate for all

    Maintains order and discipline in the school. Implements and enforces clear, consistent student discipline

    Assumes responsibility for all curricular and extracurricular

    Gathers, analyzes and uses a variety of data to inform planning and decision-making consistent with established

    Supports, manages and oversees the school's organization, operation and use of resources.

    Responsible for the creation of the master school schedule and for ensuring the schedule serves students

    Manages, utilizes and supervises financial resources appropriately to provide support for the total school program. Keeps an accurate accounting of all funds collected and/or disbursed by the school. Submits financial reports as

    Responsible for the preservation and the proper use by school and community of buildings, grounds, teaching materials, books, furnishings and facilities of the

    Promotes effective human resources management through the selection, induction, support and retention of quality instructional and support

    Qualifications:
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.


    Education and/or Experience:
    Master's degree, or equivalent, in Education. Advance degree a plus.

    Three years of successful administrative experience from one of the following areas is required:
    school level, central office level or other equivalent administrative/supervisory role. Five years of professional teaching in a classroom setting preferred.

    Certificate or License Required:
    Must hold or be eligible for a valid Georgia Professional Certificate in Educational Leadership.

    Language Skills:
    Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple and comprehensive correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and large group situations to a variety of audiences. Ability to communicate

    Mathematical Skills:
    Must have knowledge and understanding of general statistical procedures. Must have the ability to collect and analyze assessment data, predict outcomes, formulate strategies for obtaining a desired result and report/present findings in print and chart/graph

    Reasoning Ability:
    Must be able to facilitate the problem solving process. Must have the ability to synthesize workable options from given facts and assist in the development of workable solutions to address

    Technical Ability:
    Must have considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office

    Must be capable of interacting effectively with administrators, teachers, staff members, students, parents, and the general public using tactful and helpful customer
