We're seeking an Intellectual Property (Patent) Paralegal to manage client portfolios, including all filings and correspondence for US, PCT, and foreign prosecution. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be highly adaptable, proactive, and possess a high level of analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft products and comfort with technology are essential. Effective communication and customer service skills are also vital for interacting with clients and personnel.

Responsibilities

Support intellectual property attorneys in delivering exceptional client service
Prepare and file documents for US, PCT, and foreign prosecution
Draft formality documents, attend to document legalization, and comply with priority document requirements
Maintain a docket of associated deadlines for assigned clients
Report official communications to clients and foreign associates
Achieve a 1500 billable hour requirement, including approved non-billable time
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum four years' experience in international, PCT, and US prosecution required
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred
In California, must meet state-defined Paralegal requirements
Thorough knowledge of USPTO patent procedural requirements
