    We're seeking a dynamic Circular Product Consultant, skilled in circular economy strategies and sustainable product design, to join our new Circular Economy and Resource Management team for the Americas.

    As a Circular Product Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping environmentally sustainable and economically viable material, product, and manufacturing solutions that simultaneously reduce waste and create decarbonized outcomes.

    Joining Ramboll

    As our new Circular Product Consultant, you will:
    Apply circular product design and circular economy strategies to material, product design, manufacturing, and supply chain choices.
    Utilize your product development experience to support sustainable design for fabrication/manufacturing.
    Conduct or coordinate LCA assessments and supporting EPD documentation.
    Collaborate hands-on with material scientists and manufacturers, exploring plastic reduction strategies, recycled content, and alternative regenerative materials.
    Coordinate with health sciences colleagues for HPD documentation, toxicity assessments, and meeting Prop 65 and other product transparency policy.
    Advise on circular business models, including product as a service, takeback/buyback schemes, repair, remanufacturing, and end of use strategies.
    Contribute to achieving product certifications such as Declare, Cradle to Cradle, etc. and associated building certifications.
    Advise on zero waste strategies in manufacturing and operations.
    Your Starting Point for Constant Growth

    We seek a candidate with:
    A degree in Industrial/Product Design or Mechanical Engineering.
    3-7 years of relatable experience
    Experience in product development, especially with a focus on sustainability.
    Hands-on experience with design for fabrication and collaborating with manufacturers.
    Familiarity with LCA and EPD, and zero waste strategies.
    Passion for decarbonization and circular solutions as a part of that.
    A strong work ethic, initiative, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

    At Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package.

    At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annualbase salary between $87,000 - $90,000.

    Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, includingexperience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training andskill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
