We are looking for a

Quality Engineer

for our yogurt manufacturing plant in

West Jordan, Utah.
In this role you will be responsible for the following:
Investigating consumer complaints and performing root cause analysis.
Investigating non-conforming product and implementing corrective actions.
Developing quality training materials and training plant employees according to procedures.
Creating emotional quality campaigns to inspire team to prioritize quality.
Leading specific initiatives based on Corporate Quality guidance.
Trending quality KPI's and presenting them in an easy-to-understand manner.
Driving improvement in quality programs as gaps are discovered.
Reducing Finished Goods Losses by driving employee accountability and building capabilities.

ABOUT YOU:
(all are required, except when noted as preferred).
You have a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, required.
You have 3-5 years prior experience in food or dairy manufacturing, preferred.
You have prior experience with lean methodologies, preferred.
You have leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and the ability to motivate a team of employees.
You have excellent analytical, trouble shooting, conflict management and problem-solving skills.
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You have strong computer skills (Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
You have experience with RCPS tools (6W2H, Fishbone, Why-Why)

You have the availability to support a 24/7 manufacturing environment and have shift flexibility to work occasional nights, weekends as business needs dictate.
