Influential's team is defining the future of the creator economy by building the foundation on how influencers, brands and their audience interact and transact.
Our team is seeking creative thinkers with experience solving difficult problems to help us develop solutions that will continue to support Influential's leadership position in the industry.
As the SVP of Engineering, you will lead the strategy and operations of the Product & Engineering team.The SVP of Engineering will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our engineering strategy and will lead a diverse and talented team of 30 professionals.
The team's core competencies include Product Strategy, Engineering, Infrastructure, QA, Project Management and AI / Data Science.The ideal candidate will be able to contribute in a hands-on capacity when needed and have a proven track record of developing scalable products and implementing customer-centric engineering practices.
The focus of the Product & Engineering team is on enabling revenue growth through new capabilities while also driving operational efficiencies and automation.
The SVP of Engineering will partner closely with C-Suite leadership and all Influential's cross functional teams including Sales, Operations, Finance and other back-office functions to evaluate all technology related opportunities.
The Product & Engineering team manages Influential's core campaign management platform (Radius), that empowers the business to execute campaigns on behalf of our blue-chip client roster.
Lastly, the team oversees an extensive network of deep integrations with strategic partners at the world's leading social media organizations.
Key Job ResponsibilitiesOwnership of Influential's Product Roadmap and the timing and prioritization of key projects and incremental product functionality and deliverables.
Collaboration with Product Strategy to understand technology and innovation needs of the business and the ability to define the optimal approach to development and delivery.
Ownership of Influential's AI and Data Science initiatives, focused on enriching Influential's data assets to optimize brand to creator alignment and campaign results.
Oversight of Influential's Data Warehouse platform and business intelligence initiatives associated with capturing operational metrics, campaign P&Ls and business insights.
History and experience finding ways to simplify and streamline software architecture, development operations and release management processes.
Maintain key strategic relationships with Influential's data partners, including Meta, TikTok, YouTube and Snap.
Collaboration with major client accounts to participate in onboarding activities, product vision discussions and product enhancement evaluations.
Ability to present technology strategy and vision to C-suite executives, Board members and investors in a constructive manner, with ability to translate technology terminology and jargon into a cohesive business narrative.
Deep experience implementing cloud-based solutions that utilize the following front and back-end technologies;
Javascript
React
HTML and CSS
GraphQL
Express or similar web application frameworks
Deep experience with REST APIs
Experience delivering solutions that utilize Java, JUnit and Spring Frameworks
Experience with MySQL, Postgres or similar relational databases and familiarity with non-relationship databases such as Mongo
Experience delivering cloud-based solutions and working within AWS-based solutions
Experience with AWS solutions such as Redshift and Quicksight (preferred)
Experience working with agile development methodologies.
Understanding of UX design principles
Experience working with social data (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), as well as operational / sales data (preferred)
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes
Experience with Jira & Confluence or any other tools to organize and manage all phases of software testing
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other relevant containerized services (preferred)
