- Serve as the Director of the Family Enterprise Center (FEC).
- Work closely with the leadership of the Leven School and Coles College to pursue strategic objectives for the Family Enterprise Center.
- Oversee the administration (operational and financial) of the FEC and work with the research director to sustain the center.
- Oversee FEC staff to develop and execute marketing and promotional campaigns for the FEC and the programs offered through the center.
- Collaborate with academic faculty to develop, promote, and oversee educational, clinical, and social programming.
- Help embed the FEC in the local family business community and recruit family businesses to become more involved with the center.
- Engage with family businesses, advisors, and other stakeholders to secure support and sponsorship for FEC programs.
- Coordinate instructional needs for the center while serving as lead instructor for center programs.
- Teach classes as required.
- Provide regular program updates to Coles College and Leven School.
- Engage with complementary centers/programs across and beyond the university.
- Professional service to the department, college, and university is expected.
- An earned doctorate, or the foreign equivalent, in business administration, management, entrepreneurship, family business, or a related discipline is required.
- An earned doctorate from an AACSB-accredited college/school
- A record of high-quality teaching and research in family business and similar topics.
- Interest, training, and/or experience in hybrid and online teaching modalities is desirable.
