    We're looking for a
    Senior Fire Protection Engineer to join our employee-owned company that values relationships, does right by its people, and actively invests in employee growth and community welfare.


    What you'll be doing:


    • Leading the design of automatic fire alarm, detection, and suppression systems
    • Preparing plans and specifications for bidding and construction
    • Executing performance calculations, code review and analysis
    • Mentoring less experienced staff in the execution of designs
    • Conducting periodic construction site inspections
    • Future responsibilities of this position could include leadership

    What you'll need to succeed:

    Required Qualifications


    • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in fire protection, or mechanical, chemical, or architectural engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
    • 8+ years of relevant experience in fire suppression design experience
    • Qualified FPE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other states
    • Strong organizational and communication skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently

    Ideal Candidate Qualifications


    • Experience with military projects
    • Experience with aviation facilities
    • Experience with food & beverage storage/cold storage/freezers/coolers
    • Experience interacting with clients
