    Description

    a.i. solutions is looking for an Information Technology Associate to join our team to and support the NASA Launch Services Program (LSP) through the Expendable Launch Vehicle Integrated Support (ELVIS) contract at Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB). With oversight, the associate shall support the operation of and perform preventative maintenance on devices and applications for the Mission Operational Systems including, but not limited to, Mission Operations Communication System (MOCS), Mission Video Systems (MVS), NASA ELV Telemetry System (NETS), and Telecommunications Transport Systems (TTS), listed by reference in Attachment J-09, Government Support Systems Hardware and Software Resources, as well as other information technology hardware, software, and systems.

    Primary Duties & Responsibilities

    • Support with installation, programming, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and documentation of hardware and software systems to include, but limited to: cabling, connectors, and other tangible system components.
    • Assist with installation of hardware and software systems per engineering specifications.
    • Assist with programming hardware and software systems per engineering specifications.
    • Support testing and analyze hardware and software systems to establish system baselines and remedy system failures.
    • Assist with maintenance of hardware and software systems to ensure operational readiness through system monitoring and periodic maintenance instructions.
    • Assist with troubleshooting of hardware and software systems to isolate the root cause and provide status reports.
    • With support, repair hardware and software systems per engineering and/or vendor specifications.
    • Follow pre-defined documentation to include, but not limited to, drawings, procedures, and spreadsheets to ensure proper implementation. Provide redlines to ensure accuracy and configuration management of hardware and software system documentation. Actively strive to further technical knowledge and abilities pertaining to the job.
    • Perform all work within the scope of all company and government procedures of the contract.
    • Participate in regularly scheduled project, system, and mission planning meetings.
    • Assist in the develop, submission, and status of purchase requests to ensure timely delivery of materials.
    • Ensure projects and tasks in the SharePoint Management System are maintained to provide accurate status to NASA, spacecraft customers, and management

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • AA/AS degree in technical field, proven relevant work experience, or industry certifications
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance and a valid California Driver's License
