    Ideal candidate:
    Strong sustainability background and engineering, technical skills. Bachelors in engineering or science is preferable. Strong analytical / quantitative skills with an ability to pragmatically apply scientific / engineering first principles. Strong understanding of excel, and other MS software. Self starter, independently, good PM skills juggles lots of projects. Financial, PO assistance vendor management and forecasting.

    Job Details

    " Support the strategic initiatives team within the Corporate Environmental Sustainability program.

    " Leverage experience to take responsibility for and manage projects and client relationships, drive business and strategy development and direct multiple projects simultaneously.

    " Provide thought leadership and innovation within projects and across practice areas.

    " Establish and maintain positive business relationships with team members and partners.

    Day to Day responsibilities

    " Assist in the preparation of external reports and mandatory sustainability disclosures.

    " Work with internal and external partners to support ***s climate risk program. Perform climate risk assessments and model risk projections. Develop climate and carbon mitigation roadmaps. Socialize the results across global sites and functions.

    " Support cross-functional environmental sustainability initiatives and certification schemes.

    " Perform environmental sustainability benchmarking.

    " Evaluate the business case, cost analysis, technical feasibility, and lifecycle impacts of integrating environmental sustainability within projects.

    " Coordinate with vendors, including setting up purchase orders and onboarding new vendors.

    " Coordinate sustainability communications and engagements with different functions and sites. Lead internal education programs on areas of expertise.

    " Provide insights and progress reports to functions across ***, including executive leadership, and externally as needed.

    " Help develop processes and platforms to streamline environmental sustainability information collection, reporting and storage.

    " Assist with internal website updates.

    " Gain an understanding of the current business process to support day-to-day operations.

    " Proactively seek opportunities to broaden and deepen knowledge of technologies and approaches. Share newly acquired tools, skills, and software with team members through formal and informal channels.

    " Experience as a participating team member on major business process improvement initiatives in the pharmaceutical industry.

    " Ability to effectively work with others with a diversity of communication styles and technical areas of expertise.

    " Demonstrates the ability to lead the planning, design and implementation of projects.

    " Computer knowledge/skills with the following: Windows XP, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Visio (versions 2000 or higher); strong working knowledge of large format plotter printers and related software.
