About The Role:
Mechanical / Electrical Engineer (Entry-Level)
Location requirements:
60-
80% in-person; Tacoma, WA
Work authorization requirements:
Must be authorized to work within the United States
Compensation:
$60-70K / year

What You'll Achieve:
Mechanical Fabrication, Assembly, & Integration
Fabrication, assembly, integration, and testing of test jigs, rigs, and mechanical systems
Part modification & documentation for assembly / subassembly test fitting
Preparation of assembly documentation, including drawings and instructions
Electrical Assembly & Integration
Assembly, wiring, & tagging wiring harnesses and control enclosures
Documentation of cable connection schedule, including Solidworks Electrical drawings
Project Coordination
Collection, packaging, documentation, & shipment of samples to analytical labs
Coordination with manufacturing shops & third party vendors
System Operation, Troubleshooting, & Maintenance
Test plan development and system operation for internal / external projects
Technical writing and data analysis / preparation for project reporting
Performance and documentation of system maintenance
Facilities / EHS
Management of chemical inventory, waste storage and disposal
Support health & safety related tasks including trainings, site walkthroughs, toolbox talks
Development and maintenance of tool inventory, storage, and maintenance documentation
Skills and Toolset You'll Need to Bring:
B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
Experience designing, prototyping, and troubleshooting mechanical / electrical systems
Experience with CAD software ( e.g. , SolidWorks, AutoCAD, AutoDesk Inventor)
Nice to Haves:
Experience with engineering drawings and GD&T principles
Experience with electrical drawings and documentation
