- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Facilities, and Tech Transfer departments, documenting detailed requirements
- Provide application support for the MES as needed
- Develop standards and best practices for development and validation
- Lead teams through design reviews and user acceptance testing
- Plan, develop, review, and test solutions for recipe creation and modification
- Implement new capabilities across Manufacturing systems
- Make system changes to meet business requirements
- Create and execute test scripts
- Participate in operational meetings
- Mentor and train new MES developers
- Provide quality customer service
- Available for off-shift support as needed

Job Title: MES Engineer
Location: Bothell, WA (Seeking candidates within 35 miles)
Long-term contract position
PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION (Position Summary):
The MES Engineer and Validation Specialist role involves configuring and validating electronic batch records (EBR) within the Emerson Syncade Manufacturing Execution System (MES). This role supports new product and process deployments, as well as EBR revisions, collaborating with various departments.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience: 5+ years in a computer or science-based field
Direct experience in Emerson Syncade MES System. Experience in another MES system will be considered
Experience with writing and executing validation protocols
Strong technical writing skills and proficiency in GMP procedure writing
Effective interpersonal skills for cross-functional teamwork
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience required
