    Job Details:

    • Work 3 twelve-hour day shifts per week
    • Must have Level 1 Neurology experience
    • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
    • Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
    • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
    • Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
    • Obtain and monitor physiological data, observe patient manifestations and intervene when necessary
    • Administer medications as prescribed and manage intravenous infusions and blood products
    • Interact with families and patients regarding care plans during hospitalization and at discharge
    • Make referrals for patient care needs to appropriate personnel
    • Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
    • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
    • Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required
    • Current Basic Life Support (AHA) and ACLS (American Heart Association) certifications required
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary
    • Computer skills and ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients required
