    Paula LeDuc Fine Catering and Events is seeking a Packout Specialist. Professionalism, a positive attitude, a keen sense of urgency, and attention to detail are keys to our fast-paced, diverse, and ever-changing culinary pack-out program.

    As the different areas of the culinary production kitchen prepare food for multiple events, our Packout Team is responsible for overseeing and ensuring that all required food and equipment specific to each event is organized and accounted for, leaving the kitchen on time, and arriving at the event venue successfully.

    The applicant must be accustomed to a flexible work schedule that includes early mornings and weekends and varies seasonally.

    This is a Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt position eligible for Benefits, including:

    • Fully paid Kaiser Silver health coverage for the employee only. Other Kaiser plans are available to choose from, and you can add family members; the employee pays the difference.
    • 50% coverage for Reliance Dental base plan for the employee. Buy-up plan is available as well.

    Qualifications:

    • Organizational skills to handle packing, receiving, and food handling for our event pack-outs. This includes the self-motivation to make checklists and hold oneself accountable for the overall organization.
    • Understand inventory needs.
    • Be able to coordinate several activities with multiple components requiring independent follow-through and attention to detail.
    • Be highly organized and detail-oriented.
    • Communication and interpersonal skills necessary to interact with management and staff at all levels.
    • Adequately represent the organization when in contact with clients and vendors.
    • Possess excellent basic math skills.
    • Serv Safe or equivalent food handling certificate within 30 days of hire.

    Physical Requirements

    • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 30lbs frequently, as well as occasionally sit in meetings.
    • Must be able to read and write in the department s dominant language (English). Proficient communication in Spanish is a plus.
    • Must have the stamina to work 50+ hours a week as needed seasonally.
