Electrical Controls Engineer

Are you a skilled automation engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity? Join our team at a leading food industry company in Derby, NY We are seeking a PLC Automation Engineer to manage and maintain our canning facility, lead projects, and identify areas for improvement.

Bachelor's degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

• 3+ years of experience in controls engineering and automation systems integration
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives and PLC programming (preferably with Rockwell Automation products)
• Process controls and automation design
• Manage and maintain automation equipment in the facility
• New automation machine install
• Capable of automation machine troubleshooting
• Oversee automation and process engineering
• Engineering experience within an automated manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
