- This position will be a part of one of the oncologists team and also help support other providers and clinical support staff.

- We offer advanced diagnostic tools like low-dose CT and 3D imaging, precision radiation therapies, and integrated care plans and support programs. These help provide seamless care for patients and families.
- The Cancer Institute has the region's largest and most robust clinical trials program.
- You will coordinate and partner with the clinical care team to help support all aspects of patient care while patients are undergoing treatment.
- This may include complete chart prep, assist patients with moving within the clinics, rooming and taking vitals, and setting up for procedures.
- You will also work a lot on the computer including items in the work queue, scheduling new patients, scheduling patients for procedures, related appointments, and follow up visits and complete related paperwork.
- An ideal candidate will be proficient, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable and enjoy a fast-paced environment.
- You will have strong experience with EPIC and knowledge of orders.
- You will also desire being part of a strong team and enjoy connecting with patients and developing relationships with them.
- 16 hours per week, Mondays and Tuesdays in Nampa and possibly our Caldwell clinic.
- Shifts typically start around 7:00am - 7:30am. Clinic start and end time can vary based on physician's schedule.

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- MA certification required within 90 days of eligibility to take a national certification exam from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies:
- American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)
- American Medical Technologists (RMA)
- National Healthcare Association (CCMA)
- National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)
- American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.
- For new MA graduates, minimum of 100 hour externship or MA work experience is required even with MA certification.
