- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Providing direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with anesthesia administration.
- Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure safe and efficient surgical procedures.
- Maintaining a sterile surgical environment by adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic technique.
- Preparing operating rooms with necessary equipment and instruments for each surgical procedure.
- Documenting patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
- Providing patient education and support to promote positive surgical outcomes and recovery.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [State Name].
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an RN, preferably in a surgery center or hospital setting.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Experience in Eyes, GI, Ortho, and GYN surgeries prefereable.
