    Abel Door & Trim is currently accepting applications to fill an opening for a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Support.

    IT IS IMPERATIVE that you are good at reading numbers. That you have NO issues with mixing numbers up in your head. I am not referencing math. So let me be clear, when you see this "73" your mind doesn't register 'thirty-seven', but it registers 'seventy-three".

    IT IS IMPERATIVE that you have pulled trailers/goosenecks before and have a clean driving record.
    It is also important that you have very good references that I can call and talk about your work ethic and integrity.

    We are growing. We are a new door/trim/lumber company in DFW and we can't keep up with demand.

    I need you to be extremely reliable and when you make a mistake, just own it and let's get it corrected. I am not hiring people to be perfect and I don't expect perfection. But I do expect humility, hard work, and at Abel Lumber, we all respect each other.

    This job is responsible for the following:
    • Loading, transporting, and delivering doors/trim to customers in a safe, timely manner.
    • Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete.
    • Providing excellent customer service and representing the company in the field.
    • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
    • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
    • Complete accurate delivery forms.
    • Operating equipment and machinery.
    • Preparing orders in the warehouse for delivery.
    • Accepting delivery of inventory & confirming the accuracy.
    • Inspect inventory for damage upon delivery.
    • Marking and labeling stock.
    • Communicating errors or inventory issues to the manager.
    • Ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of the work environment.
