Responsibilities

The individual hired for this position will work on electrification systems including batteries, charging, and energy management. This individual will work closely with Electronics system teams, product group performance and controls teams, and other organizations to ensure the productivity subsystem meets the requirements that are defined.

Job responsibilities include:

project deliverables are captured, scheduled, and met.
system design requirements through the development and production process.
alignment with legacy and future products and systems.
technical issues at the systems level and report findings.
with the component teams to develop any new components.
detailed software specifications.

Required qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited engineering college or university
or more years of experience working with embedded systems and software.
Ability to work in a team environment, communicating technical information and development progress to team members and others as needed.
Communication skills, strong organizational and time management skills, strong analytical skills, and the ability to identify needed actions and act to resolve issues with minimal oversight.
To work effectively with a culturally diverse work group.

Desired qualifications

Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering

Experience with communications protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, CAN Datalink)
with FMEA processes and a basic knowledge of electronic system failure modes.
with embedded systems and software for mobile, earthmoving, agricultural, industrial, or off-highway applications with electrification subsystems.
