Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited institution as a Medical Technician OR Successful completion of a program based on a course of study including chemistry, biology AND a structured curriculum in techniques used in the clinical laboratory ,
- OR Have successfully completed 60 semester hours of academic credit including chemistry, biology and a structured curriculum in techniques used in a clinical laboratory at an accredited institution ,
- Experience in a large clinical laboratory and children's hospital setting preferred; will consider new graduate of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program ,
- Must pass national certifying examination, ASCP or equivalent and obtain State of Nevada , < li >Medical Laboratory Technician certificate upon hire or within 90 days of hire
