    MercyOne Medical Group - North Iowa has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine physician with Surgical Obstetrics to join our Algona Family Medicine practice located in Algona, Iowa.

    Kossuth Regional Health Center
    Busy practice with instant volume
    Join 8 Physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers
    Call for OB/hospitalist - 1:9; call for C-sections - 1:3
    Full spectrum family medicine - including surgical obstetrics, ER, and hospitalist
    Specialists available - including Cardiology, Urology, GI, ENT, Ortho, etc.
    Lab, x-ray, sleep, MRI, CT, mammography, nuclear med, PT, RT, OT, and ER all on site
    25-bed critical access hospital and primary care clinic
    Affiliate of MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a Level III Trauma Center and regional referral teaching center

    RECRUITMENT PACKAGE
    A highly competitive compensation and full benefits package, including paid malpractice and tail coverage, plus

    $250,000 bonus

    package is being offered for the right candidate.
    $260,000/year base salary + production + ER coverage
    $250,000 bonus package
    Moving allowance up to $15,000
    Full benefits package, including paid malpractice and tail coverage, reimbursement for licenses/registration, $4,000 CME/year, 2 retirement plans, generous PTO package, and so much more
    Kossuth Regional Health Center

    operates a 25-bed critical access hospital, two family medicine clinics, home care, hospice and public health nursing agencies. KRHC employs approximately 250 individuals and maintains Master Affiliation and Professional Services Agreements with MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center.
    Algona, Iowa , population 5,500, is just 2.5 hours of Des Moines and 3 hours south of Minneapolis. Algona has excellent schools, including public and parochial k-12 schools and a community college.
