    Senior Accountant

    Hybrid | Full-Time

    Newport Beach, CA

    Salary Range: $85-$95K

    The Senior Accountant plays an important role in the company's accounting department, compliance, US and international accounting, and financial audits. The individual adheres to the company's accounting operation policies, compliance with global standards, and aligns with the strategic objectives of the organization.

    What you will be doing:

    • Participate in efficient month end close process, ensuring adherence to close deadlines
    • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring that all balance sheet accounts are reconciled accurately, promptly and consistently
    • Prepare intercompany reconciliations and resolve variances on a timely basis
    • Prepare journal entries with adequate and appropriate supporting documentation
    • Provide support in the annual audit and tax process
    • Develop desktop procedures across areas of responsibility to enable better training and to reduce risk for business interruption
    • Continuously review and recommend improvements to financial processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance
    • Ensure all accounting practices are in line with GAAP and company policies
    • Participate in M&A integration efforts of the accounting function to onboard newly acquired companies into standardized accounting processes

    What type of skills are required:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
    • Minimum of 3 years' accounting experience
    • Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
