Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Customer Service Manager to lead our self-storage facility's customer experience team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and foster a welcoming environment for clients. Your leadership will drive team performance, streamline store processes, and promote a positive, organized atmosphere that encourages growth and satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Manage daily store operations, including customer interactions, inventory control, and administrative tasks.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise staff to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales goals.
- Oversee the hiring process by conducting interviews and onboarding new team members.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a seamless rental experience.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, including cash handling, billing, and bookkeeping.
- Implement effective merchandising strategies and promotional activities to boost sales.
- Coordinate with vendors for purchasing supplies and managing inventory levels efficiently.
- Train team members on store policies, POS (Point of Sale) systems, safety procedures, and customer service standards.
Requirements
- Proven management experience in retail or customer service environments with supervising responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued.
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, sales management, and team development.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems, POS technology, and retail math calculations.
- Experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative tasks.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain organized records.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in retail or self-storage settings preferred.
