- Supervise the daily operations to meet production targets
- Implement best practices to maximize the efficiency and reliability of the plant's equipment
- Develop and manage maintenance programs (predictive, preventive, and corrective) to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime
- Lead and support a team of technicians and operators, ensuring proper training and fostering a culture of safety and teamwork
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry standards
- Prepare regular reports on plant performance, maintenance activities, and operational metrics
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize resource allocation for cost-effective operations
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Prior supervisory/management experience in a cogeneration power plant or powerhouse setting
- Experience with a variety of equipment crucial to the generation of steam, hot water, electric power, and chilled water (gas turbines, steam boilers, HRSG, chillers, pumps & valves, electrical switchgear, cooling towers, water treatment systems, instrumentation & control systems, etc.)
- Education and Military experience may be considered in place of some required years of experience
