Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work day shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential time variations based on patient volume

• No weekend rotation required

• No on-call responsibilities

• No holiday expectations

• Maintain 2:1 patient ratio

• Treat 20-45 patients per day on average

• Work with adult patients only, all cancer-related diagnoses

• Minimum 1 year experience with Varian True Beam and Aria required

• Linear Accelerator experience required

• Must be skilled in administering radiation treatments

• Preferred skills include DIBH and SBRT experience

• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT-Radiation Therapy

• Use Aria EMR system

• Work with 2 Linear Accelerators

• No floating to other departments

• Orientation up to 1 week based on comfort level

• Wear any solid color scrubs

• Free on-site parking available

• Support team includes Lead Therapist, other therapists, providers, leadership, and RN staff

This medical center features a comprehensive oncology department with advanced radiation therapy capabilities. The facility operates 2 Linear Accelerators and utilizes cutting-edge technology including Varian True Beam systems and Aria EMR. The radiation therapy department maintains a supportive team environment with experienced leadership, therapists, providers, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care and professional development.
