This hospital provides critical care services as a Level II Trauma Center, serving rural areas in Northwest Iowa through its helicopter ambulance service, MercyOne Air Med.

It has received numerous honors for excellence in various clinical areas, including cardiac care, orthopedic services, vascular surgery, stroke care, and cancer care.

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care/ICU APC to join our team of providers, with opportunities for full-time or PRN coverage.

APC Job Description:

Practice Size: 8 Physicians; 8 APCs
Flexible Scheduling: 12-hr shifts available
Daily duties include discharges, call coverage, cross-covering, and admissions
No procedures are performed
Codes are required
The ICU has 20 beds and works alongside intensivists
The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used is Cerner
