    During your internship, you'll gain valuable experience across various departments within our organization. Here's a brief overview of your journey:

    ReederVogel Advertising (Approx. 3 weeks):

    • Collaborate with our marketing and advertising team.
    • Explore social media, reputation management, and content creation to enhance visibility for smaller, family-owned funeral homes.
    • Foster trust and connection with clients.

    HMIS Project in Amarillo (Approx. 3-4 weeks):

    • Play a vital role in collecting and analyzing operational data related to revenue tracking through HMIS (Hanlon Management Information Systems).
    • Gain insights into optimizing operational efficiency within cemeteries.

    Funeral Home Visit (2 days):

    • Observe specific accounting procedures unique to the Death Care Industry.
    • Learn about financial management practices relevant to the death care industry.

    Bookkeeping and Accounts Payable (Approx. 3-5 days):

    • Assist our accounting team with bookkeeping tasks and managing accounts payable.
    • Understand the financial processes specific to funeral homes.

    Accounting/Financial Reporting/IT (Approx. 1-3 weeks):

    • Rotate through these departments to learn about financial reporting and IT systems.
    • Understand how financial data is processed and reported within the context of funeral services.

    Training/Human Resources (Approx. 2-4 days):

    • Participate in training sessions to gain insights into our HR practices.
    • Understand how human resources contribute to the smooth functioning of funeral homes.

    Please note that the actual time spent in each department may vary based on business needs and project requirements.
