    Description

    Are you ready to join a US Best Managed Company? Kent Precision Foods Group is seeking an experienced finance professional to join our finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst. This position will work directly with the Vice President of Finance for Kent Precision Foods Group and cross functional teams analyzing current operations, capital projects and pricing with the goal of improving profitability.

    Primary Duties:

    • Compare and analyze actual financial results against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and actionable recommendations.
    • Conduct thorough financial analysis of strategic initiatives.
    • Evaluate the financial impact of proposed transactions and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
    • Support the development of a pricing strategy across multiple business units.
    • Proactively identify financial trends and key performance indicators.
    • Make data-driven recommendations for process improvements, cost savings, and revenue enhancements based on trend analysis.
    • Support the forecasting and budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
    • Prepare content for ongoing leadership reviews.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Education, Experience & Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
    • 5-8 years of experience in financial analysis.
    • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
    • Results oriented with a strong work initiative
    • Experience extracting and analyzing data from multiple legacy systems.
    • Proven experience in a multi-location manufacturing business preferred.
    • Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) is required.
    • Experience with Data Analytics tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or creating dashboards via Excel.
    • Experience with ERP systems
    • Experience with SQL and relational databases
    • Integrated Business Planning (IBP) or Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) experience is preferred but not required.
