    Turlock, CASUMMARYThe Program Analyst is responsible for leading and improving assigned programs and projects.

    Working collaboratively with plant management, this person will design, source, implement, and improve programs to support operational and quality improvement in several different manufacturing locations and plants.

    This role is vital in understanding capital needs. The primary focus of this role is to improve operational performance.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSEssential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

    Takes the lead with new programs, developing relationships with vendors, sourcing solutions, acting as the champion for the project, and communicating progress to manufacturing leadership.

    Collaboratively works with plant management and quality management to understand opportunities in operationsCollects, manages, and analyzes all data to derive solutions or reveal opportunities for improvementCreates reports and analyses for all levels of the organization from supervisor to executive leadership as assignedUnderstands and stays up to date with program solutions available in the feed industry such as automation, electronic management of data, etc.

    Acts as project manager once the solution has been procured.

    This includes, design of the project plan, stakeholder meetings, kick off meetings, team meetings, and communication with total company leadershipAccountable for increasing performance of operations including:
    Increasing run rates and, thus, capacityIncreasing uptime and available machine hoursEnsuring quality is maintained at the highest levelEnsuring labor efficiency is improved using automation and staffing toolsAll other projects as identified through collaboration with the operations teamWorks collaboratively with all departments including Sales, Dispatch/Transportation, and other areas to ensure the highest level of customer satisfactionProvides technical and managerial expertise to solve problems, makes recommendations and oversees implementation of improvementsMaintains all required documentation and records, ensuring compliance and accuracyRecommends capital improvement projects, equipment replacement and staffing levelsPerform other duties and/or special projects as assignedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESKnowledge of: Advanced math and critical thinking skillsData analysis and solution evaluationStatistical analysis and ability to report and explain business processes that have a statistical significance to the company and fall outside of acceptable standard deviationsAbility to: Influence, motivate and effectively operate within a teamOrganize due diligence, and decision-making processesMulti-task and work well in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reportingBuild and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and customersEffectively exercise discretion and authorityMake complex decisionsWork with vendors regarding solutions and prioritiesMinimum Job Requirements, Experience and

    Training Guidelines:

    Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a data analytics or project management roleStrong organizational skills in tracking, scheduling, and coordinating data collection and analysisDemonstrated effectiveness at working in a collaborative team environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsEffective interpersonal skills including the ability to motivate staff and facilitate changeComputer proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, timekeeping, production management and inventory control systems; SAP experience desiredCalifornia drivers license and insurable DMV recordSPECIAL DEMANDSBe flexible and open to new ways of doing things.
